About Alana

Growing up on the Florida gulf coast I watched brightly colored sunsets over the water every day. I feel that this and many other experiences of being immersed in nature nurtured my sensitivity to color and light.

I’ve made art in many different kinds of media and in many different styles but a common thread through my work is love of experimentation and play. I hope that as I share my creative process with you, you will find encouragement for your creative journey.
